There are always third party candidates, if you crave a button pushing or a lever pull.
I have a friend who votes for his favorite cartoon characters nearly every election, just so he can say he voted then proceeded to bitch about the politicos. It makes him happy, and I must admit that I've been tempted by the strategy at least once.
