Oh god, different state, same story! I could dedicate an entire journal to how West Virginia's election is a mess. All four major candidates (Congress position and local representative position) are less than ideal. I swear they're in competition with each other to have the worst policies. So it's come down to voting for the guy who does not represent my views but would be more likely to listen to complaints or the guy who does not represent my views and would not listen to my complaints because I'm from the "wrong" party (read: not his party). And the saddest thing is, voting the "best" candidate into office will only encourage him to run again. He, by the way, was our governor right before/while he's campaigning for this position, so I know he wants to stay directly involved in the state's political climate-thing.

ARGH!

With that out of my system, I will definitely be reading this linked article.
