Yes, we saw three things eat lettuce yesterday - a cavy, some bugs and a Waldo. ;)
I don't know where the biting came in, but there was a lot of "Snakes will bite you?" throughout the day. We discussed that the window keeps us safe and the animals safe because we cannot touch each other. He would get real nervous about touching the glass at first, but after I did it he was all, "touch a snake!" and tap the glass because he realized he couldn't *actually* touch a snake, he could just put his hand against the glass where the snake was pressed against it.
He was comepletely distressed when I pulled him out of the redlight area where the big ass roaches were. They were awesome. Especially when they crawled up the glass right in front of him. He was very displeased when one got about four feet up the glass and he couldn't tap at it any more. He was all, "It go too far away! It too far away!" However the bats flying around their enclosure? Too scary and not at all cool. :p
