....I have no earthly understanding of why it needs flour. Honestly, that is where I'm inclined to think the recipe went awry. Part of why I use the recipe above is that the sugar gives it enough structure without flour. (And most of the four ingredient recipes do not call for flour. This is, in fact, the first one I've ever seen that has flour I. It. ~boggles~)
