How is that even possible? In any of the institutions of higher learning with which I have a connection, none of this would be allowed. Particularily messing with a student -- in every one of these colleges and universities you would be out on your ass in seconds if there's even a rumor.

Faculty are terrified -- never have meetings with students without the door wide open. Often they try to have another faculty member or anyone else present or close by, etc.

There is NO fraternization between faculty and students now, such as I was so accustomed to as even an undergrad, much less grad student. The separation between faculty and grad students now is just as in effect as it is for undergrad. It's also true for female faculty -- no fraternization with any students.

In lot of ways that's really too bad. You miss a lot of good insights into the field and subject this way -- it is an enriching experience. But too many jerkoffs ruined it for everyone.

So how does this jerkoff get away with it? Yeah, I did ask that already and you tried to explain.
