Yeah, everyone's clumsy sometimes. This is just... a constant lack of care. He doesn't look before he puts glasses down after drinking from them, for instance, so instead of putting them on the table they just fall to the floor. Or there's a book half under it and it's off balance. Or whatever. Or he picks the glass up and strikes something with it, or tips it halfway over when moving it.
