Yeah, it really didn't. It was VERY public with a lot of people around. I guess my issue is less that they ASKED and more that they asked LOUDLY IN PUBLIC AROUND OTHER PEOPLE. And the mental health question? BB, I have in my family history depression, anxiety, OCD, schizophrenia or schizotypal affective disorder (not clear which, person was told both by different doctors), borderline personality disorder, bi polar disorder, and more. There's a ton of drug and alcohol abuse/addiction in my family, probably largely due to self-medicating. And there is SO MUCH social stigma about all of that. I really need to cop to all that in public to a bunch of strangers? And can I trust them to toe the line between watching out for MH problems and assuming MH problems (IE, kid's acting out & has a family history of bi polar, OBVIOUSLY he also has bi polar)? I felt vulnerable at the time of the questioning.
