I really don't think I've read anything else by Updike. The book was in the bathroom and my husband read the first few pages and came out confused. Because isn't John Updike A Big Writer? hasn't he written Something Important? But this book was obviously shitty!

Man, all I wanted was some literature about awesome women being witches and being friends and instead I got some piece of misogynist crap.
