3) What did you eat for your last meal?

I had leftover pepperoni pizza, a can of coke, and a fist full of dayquil. Pizza and coke is my go-to comfort food, especially when I'm sick (which I am. again. fffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu.)

My favorite pizza is Giordano's Deep Dish; second to that is this place called Nick's that does East Coast style pizza and mostly I like them because 1) the staff is super nice and friendly, 2) my best friend and I used to order from them like once a week and it was A Thing. Ahhhhh, memories. Nesko likes super thin pizzas of the kind you get in bars. It's a mixed marriage. I love him despite his flawed tastes in pizza.

I like thin pizza because it doesn't give me heartburn. Peter likes deep pan because it provides more food. We have come to compromise over this, but it is an issue. :p

There are some things I'm willing to tolerate heartburn for, but yeah. We've been cutting back on the deep dish because it gives Nesko heartburn, too. He grew up with really thin crust pizza so that's what he's used to.

Our compromise usually involves me caving because deep dish is more expensive than thin crust.

Every now and again I eat garlic bread even though I know there's about a one in four chance it'll give me heartburn. Because garlic bread is worth it. So I totally see where you're coming from.

Part of it is, is that for awhile I was getting terrible excruciating pain no matter how carefully I ate. Also I'm lactose intolerant, didn't realize it for awhile, and frankly enjoy some forms of dairy too much to give up. So I make a lot of choices in my food life that I know won't have a pleasant end, but the joy of eating them outweighs the bad part.
