I couldn't figure out how to word "silence indicates consent" in a way that didn't also ring rape culture bells so I just left it. If I figure out a way (and I am thinking about it) or someone suggests a better phrasing I'll change it. I totally get what you're saying and it bugged me too, but I couldn't think of a better phrasing.
