In Texas, U-Turns are a frequent, valid way of navigating. Which is startling enough IN TEXAS when you're not used to them and very WHAT THE FFFFUUUUUUUUCK when you're in Illinois and a Texan just suddenly hey woah wow! does a U-Turn someplace you wouldn't expect it. Like anywhere. Because U-Turns aren't really a THING in Chicago unless you're an emergency vehicle or an asshole.
