There's a lot of really, really legitimate concerns regarding "big pharma," the way medicine/doctors/prescriptions, etc are run/handled in this country, the way pharmaceutical companies advertise directly to consumers, how patents are handled, the list goes on and on. But! I think that a lot of that legit criticism winds up getting lost in the gales of shit that Dr. Oz, Andrew Wakefield, Deepak Chopra, etc shovel out and that is really, really harmful. And, for whatever reason, their bullshit gets more attention/press than the actual problems that actually exist!
