On my list this year are lemon crinkles, and homemade Brussels mint cookies (like the Pepperidge Farm ones; Woks of Life posted a recipe and I desperately want to try it).
And yeah I also realized that by the time I was oldest's age, I could make a batch of cookie dough or cake dough from a recipe pretty unsupervised. I wasn't using the oven or stove on my own, but I could do all the mixing.
Some is def our small kitchen. Some is that really, I learned most of it from my grandma, and that's not an opportunity that oldest has.
