The temp agency I've been using for... ten years? Something like that?... is currently hiring temporary employees to work crowd control at Chicago's Gay Pride Parade on Sunday June 26th.

You would need to be at Belmont and Halsted at 8:00am to check in, and then work until the parade is done, probably around 2:30-3:00pm. Pay is $10.00 an hour. You need to able to legally work in the USA and have a state ID/driver's license and a social security card, and be physically able to walk around in heat for hours while interacting with people. You'll be assigned, with 1-3 other people, to walk up and down the block you're on keeping people behind the barricades/out of the street, keeping people from throwing things, keeping people from jumping onto/off of parade floats and cars, that sort of thing. There will be cops on every block so if there's An Issue you'd have police right there at hand, but apparently there are rarely Issues.

If you're interested, let me know. PM me or email me at brigidkeely at gmail.com and I'll send you my agency's name and phone number. You'll have to go downtown to watch a ~45 minute instructional video, which you can do while signing up and giving your tax info & identity documents. You'd get a paycheck that following Wednesday, which you can pick up, or have it mailed to you.
