My mom (mostly German and Welsh and Scottish, probably some Native and African as well) has olive skin and dark dark brown hair (almost black) (well, gray now) and dark hazel eyes. Almost any time she's at an "ethnic" store (Hispanic corner store, Jewish deli, French market, Greek restaurant, etc) people assume she is all or part that ethnicity.
