My first name is Brigid. People start spelling it out loud and I correct them, and then they correct me or they talk over my spelling-it-out.

"How many T's is that? It's Brigette, right? Or just one T?"

Or I get "B-R-I-G-I-D... is that pronounced like "frigid"?"
