My house sandals (I shove my feet into them to run out and check the mail, run trash out, go into the basement, etc... more sturdy than a slipper but not a shoe either and I don't wear them inside) are men's. While I was trying them on, several people (both customers and staff) came over to tell me I was in the wrong section and one dude stared at me the entire time in a distracted way.
