We don't do signing as such, but our child has developed some signs of his own - apart from the usual pointing. Every time we mention ironing he mimics the hand movements and grins like a loon.
At nearly 16 months, he doesn't speak much but understands most of what we say. Sometimes he also does what we tell him to...
