msmcknittington: Queenie from Blackadder (Default)
I don’t want my two-year-old running back there, because he has NO CONCEPT of danger

This is the most terrifying thing about small children. My nephew, who is only 11 months, likes to try to throw himself off things. Like changing tables or beds or out of your arms while you are feeding him. And he laughs while he does it! Terrifying.

So, that meant that when I was at my sister's, I stopped changing him on the changing table or the bed and did it on the floor instead. Which meant that he escaped from me several times, buck naked and headed anywhere that didn't involve clothes. He never made it very far, and he was pretty put out once I managed to get the onesie on him again.
